Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. in St. Louis, MO, seeks a Night Production Supervisor to lead spinning operations on the night shift (6pm–6am). You will oversee ~16 technicians and team leads, ensuring safe, compliant, and productive manufacturing across all spinning lines.

You are a hands-on leader with strong problem solving, coaching skills, and the ability to make independent decisions in a dynamic facility. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement on night shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience with progressive leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to lead teams and make independent decisions in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead night-shift spinning operations across multiple production areas.
• Execute the production schedule while balancing safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
• Make real-time decisions regarding staffing, priorities, equipment issues, and production constraints.
• Coordinate work assignments and resources to maximize operational effectiveness.
• Communicate production challenges and opportunities to day-shift leadership.
