Qualifications

• The SPT I handles general support in Specimen Processing.
• Performs data entry and specimen handling tasks with accuracy.
• Operates lab processes including A-station, presort, imaging, centrifugation, and aliquoting.
• Maintains safety, quality, and compliance in a biohazard environment.

Responsibilities

• The SPT I is responsible for general support functions within the Specimen Processing Department.
• This position requires a data entry background and tasks may include A-station, presort, pickup and delivery of processed specimens, imaging/microfilming, centrifugation and aliquoting.
• All functions must be performed with confidence, accuracy and in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to changes in daily procedures.
