Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Specimen Technician for the 3rd shift in Tampa, FL. The role involves processing specimens, data entry, and supporting the lab team in a biohazard environment. The schedule runs 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM with flexible weekend/overtime requirements.

Pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.78 per hour, or $20.80 depending on experience and credentials. HS diploma or equivalent required; no extensive experience needed, but healthcare or lab exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of computers with data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen processing support including A-station and presort.
• Enter data with high accuracy (6000 keystrokes/hour).
• Assist in pickup and delivery of processed specimens to the lab.
• Operate imaging/microfilming, centrifugation and aliquoting as assigned.
• Maintain safety and compliance with regulations; adapt to schedule changes.
