Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography and ARDMS eligibility required.
• 1 year of experience in sonography with knowledge of routine and complex procedures.
• ARDMS registration and RDMS physics registry with two ARDMS registries required.
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with Radiologist to perform diagnostic sonographic exams.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor of quality care.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Assists in supervision of student sonographers and training of new sonographers.
• Utilizes radiology computer systems and ensures safety of all customers.
