Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a qualified Sonographer II for the Orlando Health Freestanding Emergency Room at Crossroads in Saint Petersburg. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in collaboration with radiologists, ensuring high-quality images and accurate documentation for interpretation.

The role requires ARDMS eligibility, at least one year of experience, and current BLS certification. You will train staff and support QC activities while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography per ARDMS eligibility.
• 1 year of sonography experience with Doppler, 3D/4D, and pediatric ultrasound.
• ARDMS registration required; RDMS physics registry and two ARDMS registries.
• Current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification required.
• Maintain ARDMS registries as applicable to the department.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Radiologist to perform diagnostic sonographic exams.
• Maintain professional judgment and quality patient care.
• Position patient and equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification and accurate documentation.
