Job summary

Gerdau is seeking an entry-level painter for our solar pile fabrication facility in Midlothian, TX. The role involves painting finished products to spec, assisting with general material handling, and supporting operators, maintenance, and leadership on the night shift.

Responsibilities include tagging products, counting bundles, operating cranes and forklifts, and performing quality checks to ensure prime material meets specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic understanding of English, written and verbal.
• 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Paint finished product according to customer specifications using paint sprayers and/or brushes.
• Tag finished products for correct placement in inventory yard.
• Assist with inventory management by counting bundles and locating materials.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts with required safety inspections.
