Job summary

Tufts Medicine - Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, MA is seeking a per diem Sleep Therapy Technician to join our team. Under medical supervision, this role evaluates and treats sleep disorders, performs overnight polysomnograms and home sleep testing, and documents results in the medical record.

Minimum qualifications include HS diploma, sleep technology program, RPSGT or eligible for RPSGT/RST, BLS, and two years in a sleep lab; scoring experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a sleep technology program.
• RPSGT registration or eligible for RPSGT/RST certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat sleep disorders, conduct in-center and overnight studies, and educate patients.
• Operate sleep lab equipment, record data, and ensure data accuracy in the medical record.
• Score sleep stages and events per AASM guidelines; prepare accurate reports.
• Prepare patient for home sleep apnea testing and provide patient education.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and equipment care; assist with CQI efforts.
