Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Sleep Technologist Trainee to join our team for a full‑time night shift. The role involves performing and scoring diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies under supervision, with initial day/afternoon training before rotating to nights.

This position offers a competitive night‑shift hourly range and rotating weekends. Qualified candidates may be a 1st/2nd year MVCC Sleep Technology student with clinical rotation, or a STAR/ASTEP/CAAHEP/CPSGT

Qualifications

• 1st or 2nd year sleep technology student with clinical rotation or STAR/ASTEP/CAAHEP/CPSGT credentialed sleep technologist
• 1 year minimum sleep technologist experience in accredited sleep center or enrollment status with progress toward RPSGT/RST credentialing

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform and score adult and pediatric sleep studies per policies; monitor and document events and responses.
• Apply and titrate CPAP, BiPAP, AutoPAP, oxygen and oral appliance therapy per protocols.
• Prepare and calibrate monitoring equipment; perform EEG/ECG/EMG/EOG setup and sensor placement per 10-20 system.
• Document results and ensure accurate data in digital sleep study records.
• Maintain equipment, stocks, and infection control standards; report issues and coordinate with IT/Biomed.
• Provide patient/family education on masks, therapy setup, and treatment expectations.
