Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks an RN for SICU in Charlottesville to join a fast-paced 15-bed Surgical/Trauma ICU. The role requires at least 1 year of critical care experience, an active nursing license, and certifications such as BLS and ACLS. TNCC is preferred.

Responsibilities include arterial line management, chest tube care, and ventilated patient support, with a typical 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio and potential floating within ICU as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Care for surgical/trauma ICU patients in a fast-paced 15-bed unit.
• Monitor post-operative and trauma patients requiring continuous monitoring.
• Manage arterial lines, chest tubes, and blood products.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with services across the ICU.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio typically 1:2, varies by acuity.
