BiRite Foodservice Distributors in Brisbane, CA, is hiring a Shuttle Driver to safely deliver trailers to resident yards and return products to Driver Check In, following DOT and company procedures. You will drive tractor/trailer, maintain ELD logs, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and ensure proper trailer designation.

The role requires a California Class A CDL with Doubles, a clean DMV record, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Salary ranges from $32.00 to $35.00 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid California Class A CDL with Doubles endorsement.
• Clean DMV record; ability to provide 5-year DMV driving record.
• As of 1/6/2023, must have DOT Clearinghouse profile before hire.
• Employment offer contingent upon passing drug screen and background checks.
• 3 years of commercial Class A driving experience preferred.
• Food delivery experience is highly desired.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work nights.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor/trailer, adhering to all commercial driving regulations.
• Maintain ELD log books according to Department of Transportation Regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractor/trailer, and complete vehicle inspection report.
• Ensure shuttle of correct trailers to correct designated resident yards.
• Unload damaged goods and customer returns at the driver check-in area; follow BiRite’s Driver Check In procedures.
• Make sure assigned invoices are secured with the proper trailer.
• Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
