Watson Custom Tanks is actively hiring a Shop Helper to support our metal fabrication and manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on production role ideal for dependable individuals looking to build a long-term career in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of manufacturing or shop experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read tape measures accurately.
• Experience using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Build wooden crates, skids, and pallets for shipment.
• Load and unload equipment, raw materials, and freight.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided if needed).
• Assist with grinding, washing tanks, and removing protective film.
• Support shipping and receiving activities.
• Gather parts and materials to maintain production flow.
• Assist shop floor teams with general labor tasks.
• Perform shop cleanup, including dumping scrap using forklifts.
• Maintain safe, organized, and efficient work areas.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support operations.
