Job summary

Publix Super Markets is hiring for a warehouse/ manufacturing associate in Georgia. The role involves operating a palletizer, sit-down forklift, and clamp truck to load products, unload trailers, and complete paperwork.

You’ll help maintain equipment and support continuous improvement in processes and skills while assisting teammates and training new associates per leadership direction. The position requires physical stamina, the ability to lift 50+ pounds, and the flexibility to work nights,

Qualifications

• Operate sit-down forklift and clamp truck.
• Lift up to 50+ pounds.
• Pull 180-200 pounds on slick surfaces.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
• Continuous bending, reaching, pulling, carrying, lifting, and walking.
• Maintain excellent safety habits.
• Read, write and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Select product to be loaded.
• Load and unload trailers.
• Complete all necessary paperwork.
• Operate Palletizer and forklift equipment.
• Maintain and clean equipment in the work area.
• Continuously improve work processes, team skills, and technical skills.
• Assist in all department areas when needed.
• Assist with training of new associates as directed.
