Job summary

Publix Super Markets, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Forklift Operator in Georgia to move cases and pallets within our distribution warehouses. You will operate powered equipment, place items in assigned slots, rotate inventory using oldest stock first, and help keep the warehouse clean and safe.

Night shifts and weekends are required; forklift/pallet truck certification is needed; must be able to lift 67 pounds and stand or sit for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Obtain pallet truck and forklift certifications by start date.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 67 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, identify and verify numbers.

Responsibilities

• Move cases and pallets within the warehouse and place them in assigned slots.
• Move product from receiving dock to reserve locations.
• Replenish pick locations as they are emptied by warehouse selectors.
• Rotate inventory using oldest stock first.
• Maintain a clean warehouse and sweep empty slots.
