Wonderbrands is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to lead a night-shift team in a fast-paced distribution setting. The role reports to the Distribution Center Manager, with a two-week training period in Toronto.

Responsibilities include organizing pre-shift meetings, coaching team leaders, and ensuring schedules and safety standards are maintained. Key requirements include 3–5 years of frontline leadership, union experience preferred, and a forklift license as an asset.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education is an asset in operations management, business, engineering, etc.
• 3–5 years of frontline leadership experience preferred, with ability to manage unionized staff.
• Forklift license/certification is an asset.
• Bright, motivated and clear on career goals with a developmental mindset.
• Ability to learn quickly, be ambitious and propose innovative ideas while staying structured.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and foster mutual respect, teamwork, and a development mindset.
• Organize pre-shift meetings and provide feedback to team leaders to drive continuous improvement.
• Direct team leaders and expedition staff with mobilizing leadership to unite the team.
• Ensure schedules are followed and address problems using structured methods.
• Coordinate schedules, products and manpower across departments to ensure smooth shipping.
• Verify methods meet quality, safety, and environmental standards while managing conflicts.
