Job summary

Zekelman Industries is hiring a Shipper for its Kansas City, MO facility on third shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM). The role focuses on safe material handling, accurate order fulfillment, and efficient inventory management.

Expect to work with warehouse equipment in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities include preparing shipments, processing orders, picking/packing, loading, receiving materials, and maintaining stock through rotation and cycle counts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing.
• Strong communication and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, products, and equipment for distribution and shipment.
• Process and fulfill orders from customers and internal teams.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders with accuracy using scanning tools.
• Load shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials; report damages.
• Replenish warehouse stock and rotate inventory; maintain safety standards.
