Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Dobson, NC is seeking a backup Shipping Clerk to support the shipping team, handle shipping paperwork, and assist with inventory. This role requires use of PPE and strict adherence to company policies and animal welfare guidelines.

The responsibilities include scanning pallets, labeling, stacking and wrapping, and working nights or weekends as needed. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and basic math skills; hatchery or poultry industry experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hatchery or poultry industry experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and numeracy required.

Responsibilities

• Ability to Scan and track pallets from production into the cooler.
• Ensure all product is labeled stacked and wrapped correctly
• Must be able to perform all jobs in the department.
• Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers
• Do all tasks assigned by members of management
• Must be able to follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
• Must be able to perform additional duties as assigned.
