Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Shipping Associate. The role handles loading/unloading trailers, verifying loads, maintaining the shipping yard, and ensuring accuracy of counts and records. Shift starts around 6:00 pm with Tuesdays and Saturdays off.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with 1–3 years shipping experience, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfortable in a warm environment. English communication is required; nights, weekends, and holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50 lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand for prolonged periods.
• Comfortable in a warm environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Willing to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers, verify route loads, trailer reports, and maintain the shipping yard.
• Count and check products for accuracy and quality, report variances, and participate in cycle counts.
• Operate material handling equipment including pallet jack and forklift.
• Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment and related machinery.
