Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA, Inc. is hiring a Shipping Associate in the United States. You will load and unload trailers, verify routes, and maintain shipping records while ensuring accuracy and safety.

You will operate pallet jack and forklift, count products, report discrepancies, and participate in cycle counts. The role requires night shifts, weekend and holiday availability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a warm environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• 1-3 Years of shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for loading and unloading trailers, verifying route loads, trailer reports, and maintaining the shipping yard.
• Count and check products for accuracy and quality, maintain records, report overages and shortages, and participate in Cycle Counts.
• Operate material handling equipment including pallet jack and forklift.
• Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment, label machines, tapers, palletizers, etc.
