Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team in Houston. You will help load and unload trailers, verify loads, and maintain accurate shipping records in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+, can lift up to 50 lbs, and are able to work nights, weekends and holidays. Prior shipping experience is preferred, and strong English communication is essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• 1-3 years of shipping experience preferred.
• Able to lift, push/pull up to 50 lbs, stand for prolonged periods.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Willing to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers, verify route loads, maintain shipping yard and trailer reports.
• Count and check products for accuracy and quality; maintain records; report discrepancies; assist in cycle counts.
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment and label machines.
