Job summary

Doncasters is seeking a Shell Utility Operator to support the Shell Department on a rotating Friday-Sunday 5:00 PM–5:30 AM shift. You will prepare slurries, maintain equipment, perform material testing, and assist engineering with process documentation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or technical school equivalent, 1–3 years in manufacturing, basic shop math, computer literacy, and strong attention to detail. This position starts at $21.43 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or technical school equivalent.
• Experience: 1–3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Skills: Basic shop math skills, computer literacy, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process & Material Prep: Prepare slurries per formulas and keep sand hoppers filled with appropriate materials.
• Testing & Quality: Perform shell tests, test incoming materials, log results, and maintain test logs.
• Equipment & Area Maintenance: Clean slurry tanks and fluidized beds, monitor slurry viscosity, and keep area tidy.
• Documentation: Fill out and submit consumption forms to Purchasing and record data in computer systems.
• Support & Cross-Training: Assist Engineering with core packing instructions and cross-train as needed.
