Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a shift-based operator to prepare molds, apply slurry coatings, and run robotic and manual dipping equipment in a high-volume production setting. You will monitor dip cycles, ensure consistent coverage, and maintain accurate process documentation while adhering to safety rules.

The role requires standing for long shifts, lifting up to 35 lbs, and operating forklifts as part of daily duties. This is a full-time evening shift in Connecticut.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret shell process sheets and work instructions for each production part number.
• Prepare molds and pattern assemblies for processing by removing from racks and installing handling fixtures or handles as required.
• Operate robotic dipping equipment, monitor cycles, adjust speed and cycle times, and respond to alarms by resetting equipment as necessary.
• Maintain accurate process documentation, including recording dipping times and dates on process sheets.
• Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
