Job summary

Perrigo in Idaho is seeking a Union Packaging Operator for the 3rd shift (Sun–Fri 10:00pm–6:30am). You will monitor equipment to ensure optimal throughput and provide line personnel with guidance on operating packaging equipment.

You will disassemble/assemble filling and packaging lines, set lot numbers and expiration dates, keep the area clean, and coordinate routine maintenance with maintenance staff. A high school diploma or GED and the ability to read and write in English are required, with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work cooperatively and with minimal supervision.
• English reading/writing ability and paperwork proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment to assure optimal throughput.
• Provide line personnel with guidance on how to operate the equipment.
• Disassemble/assemble filling and packaging lines as necessary.
• Set Lot/Batch numbers and expiration dates per customer order.
• Keep the work area clean and organized and document activities.
• Notify Supervisor/QA of equipment issues and coordinate maintenance.
• Support process improvement initiatives.
