Guardian Security Services is seeking a dependable overnight Supervisor for Evanston, IL. The role runs 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, leading officers, enforcing policies, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of supervisory security experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a high school diploma or GED. Position offers full-time hours with excellent benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years security supervisory experience.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate reporting and oversight.
• Calm, decisive in emergencies and escalated situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients.
• Provide clear direction and enforce post orders and standards.
• Must have a High School Diploma/GED.
• Valid PERC card or willingness to apply.
• 20-hour training certificate or complete within 30 days.
• CPR and AED certification must be completed if not held.
• Pre-employment drug screening is required.
• Maintain professional grooming and mature demeanor.
• Customer service and public relations skills with diverse groups.
• Excellent verbal, written, and non-verbal communication.
• Must maintain a working telephone at all times.

• Safety leadership — guide responses to safety concerns and ensure professional resolution.
• Incident report review — ensure timely, accurate documentation and follow-ups.
• Customer service guidance — model courteous, professional interactions.
• Policy enforcement oversight — uphold standards and address noncompliance.
• Emergency coordination leadership — direct actions during alarms or emergencies.
• Visibility and deterrence management — maintain a strong security presence.
• Communication with leadership — notify site leadership of issues and stay informed.
