Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking an Edison Security Operations Center Analyst for graveyard shift to monitor security systems across the SCE territory.

You will serve as a security operations professional and client service specialist, handling alarms, access control, inspections, and incident responses. The role requires clear communication, report writing, and coordination with security personnel, emergency responders, and management.

Qualifications

• AA degree or 2–3 years in a command center, security dispatch, call center, or similar environment.
• Experience in command center, alarm monitoring, dispatch, or customer service call center preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation and ability to handle high-stress calls.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, SharePoint).
• Flexible scheduling including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for high-volume inbound and outbound calls with professional service.
• Triage and respond to inbound calls regarding security concerns, access issues, alarms, and inquiries.
• Initiate outbound calls to notify site personnel, management, security officers, and responders.
• Perform site access control to prevent loss of equipment and assets.
• Conduct Alarm Station duties and respond to emergencies and non-emergency situations.
• Monitor, acknowledge, and escalate alarm events as needed.
• Notify responders during incidents and coordinate with management.
• Interface with law enforcement and responders as necessary.
• Document all calls, alarms, incidents, and actions in reports and logs.
• Prepare clear, concise written reports on alarms, incidents, investigations, and activities.
• Utilize multiple security systems and communication tools concurrently.
• Maintain confidential and policy-compliant service across ESOC and SCE operations.
• Support supervisors with timely and accurate information during operations.
