Job summary

Mattel HQ, Inc. in El Segundo, CA is seeking a 3rd Shift Security Officer to protect employees, guests, products, and brands. The role is on-site with weekend and holiday work; shifts Fri–Tue 10:30PM–7:00AM.

The candidate will monitor access control, CCTV, and alarm systems, and will perform incident documentation using MS Office. Requirements include 1+ years in security or related fields, a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and first aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• One+ years of Security, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, Law Enforcement, or military background preferred.
• High school diploma or GED, required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a valid Security Guard License, where required.
• Must be certified in First Aid, CPR, and Blood-borne Pathogens, or willing to obtain through Mattel training.
• Effective communication with the public and all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support Mattel's Global Security Strategy to protect people and assets.
• Enforce Global Security policies to create a safe environment for all employees and visitors.
• Complete security duties as defined in SOP manuals under supervision.
• Conduct patrols on foot, in a vehicle, and digitally to monitor campuses.
