Job summary

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• CPI non-violent crisis intervention training within first 90 days of employment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within first 90 days of employment.
• 2 years experience working in a hospital is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patrols to ensure safety of patients, visitors, staff and hospital assets.
• Escort service for visitors and staff as needed.
• Assist in controlling facility access and monitoring systems.
• Record keeping and incident reporting; respond to disturbances and emergencies.
