Job summary

Rich Smith Management is seeking a part-time Courtesy Officer for our Mabelvale, AR apartment community. The role focuses on maintaining a secure, welcoming environment for residents while following safety protocols.

You will patrol the property at least two times each night from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., inspect common areas, report suspicious activity, and collaborate with local law enforcement as needed. Housing is provided as part of compensation.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed law enforcement officer in the same city or municipality as the property.
• Completion of police academy training or equivalent law enforcement training required.
• Must live on the property (apartment included in compensation).

Responsibilities

• Patrol the community a minimum of two times each night between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., seven nights per week.
• Inspect common areas and amenities, including the clubhouse, pool, and playground.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity immediately to local authorities and the Community Director.
• Provide extra patrol coverage on holidays or as needed.
• Identify and report areas of poor lighting or malfunctioning security lights.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to enhance property security.
• Submit a weekly written report/log of all notable activity to the Community Director.
