Sharp Tri-City Medical Center is seeking a Security Officer I for night shift to protect staff, patients, visitors, and property. The role involves monitoring access, identifying risks, and enforcing safety protocols in a hospital setting.

Required HS Diploma or equivalent, BSIS Guard Card within 90 days, and NVCI Training within 90 days. Two years of security or police experience are preferred, with on-site duties and potential overtime as needed.

Competenze

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
• BSIS Guard Card required within 90 days of hire.
• NVCI Training within 90 days of hire.
• 2 years police or security related experience or college related courses in Security, Criminology or Management.

Mansioni

• Provide protection to the Medical Center, employees, patients, visitors and their property from accident, damage, theft and trespass.
• Identify high-risk persons, unsafe behavior, and contraband objects; intervene verbally or physically to uphold a safe environment.
• Monitor identification badges, unsecured doors, trip/fall hazards; enforce safety procedures.
• Assist with inventory, housing and retrieval of assets within the medical center.
• Assist with security officer orientation and department training as needed.
• Adhere to the scheduled Security department hours and mandatory overtime when required.
• Maintain departmental equipment and complete timely investigations and reports.
