KVC Health Systems, partnering with St. Louis Children’s Hospital, seeks a Security Officer (Night Shift) for the Webster Groves campus in St. Louis, MO.

This full-time role ensures safety and security for patients, visitors, staff and property during overnight hours, including access control, rounds, and incident response. The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with good driving history, and 2 years of related security experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensure/Certification: Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance with good driving record.
• Experience: Two years of verifiable employment history related to this position, such as law enforcement, security guard, or military service.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings and grounds during night hours to identify and address safety, fire, and security risks.
• Maintain a vigilant presence to monitor facility access and ensure all points of entry are secure.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with evacuations and crowd control.
• Investigate safety hazards and security incidents on hospital property.
• Perform overnight safety checks to support a safe environment for residents and staff.
