What You Will Do?

Th Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, staff and protecting Community property. Responsible for verifying the scheduled presence of all employees and third-party contractors on the grounds. This position is a night shift position. The shift would be from 11 : 00pm- 7am.

Job Salary Range : $18.50-$22.50 / hourly

Responsibilities :

• Makes scheduled rounds both inside and outside the buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property as well as company property.
• Responds to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls.
• Shovels and keeps clear exit door walkways during and after snowstorms.
• Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
• Performs light maintenance as time allows such as changing light bulbs, touch up painting and similar assignments.

Qualifications :

• A minimum of one year security experience preferred.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, pay attention to detail.
• Must display a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude toward the public.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks, follow instructions carefully and completely.
• Must possess good organizational skills and be able to work without supervision.
• Must possess current and valid Indiana Driver’s License.
