Milwaukee Rescue Mission in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is seeking a Christian man to fill a full-time, 3rd shift Guest Safety Associate position. This role provides security and guest care in Safe Harbor.

Work schedule is 10:00pm to 6:00am with weekends as needed. The organization offers competitive pay ($18.60-$19.26/hour) plus shift and weekend differentials and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• A mature Christian man with a servant's heart; able to relate to a diverse population.
• High School diploma or GED required; security experience preferred.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certifications preferred; willing to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of the Mission, its people and properties.
• Ensure guests understand and follow premise rules and regulations.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of buildings and facilities to identify and report damage and potential security risks.
• Ensure buildings are secure and access is controlled for restricted areas.
• Discern potentially volatile situations and act quickly to alleviate disruptions.
• Assist in removing disruptive or suspicious individuals as needed.
• Perform first aid and/or life-saving measures if necessary; conduct breathalyzer tests when required.
• Coordinate with emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
• Identify and report security or maintenance concerns; assist Guest Care Team as needed.
