Job summary

Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley in Kingston, NY is seeking a Night Shift Screen Print Press Operator to own the press from setup through teardown, running prints to spec at production pace.

You will load garments on M&R presses, perform test prints, monitor quality, and maintain a clean, efficient work area all night. Strong bilingual in English/Spanish preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet attendance requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience operating M&R screen printing presses.
• Ability to set up, load, run, and teardown presses.
• Knowledge of registration, off-contact, ink types, and cure temps.
• Strong attention to detail and print quality at speed.

Responsibilities

• Set up M&R presses for each job — screens, registration, off-contact, ink and squeegee settings
• Load garments and run automatic presses to spec (placement, color, coverage)
• Perform test prints and get approval before running the full job
• Monitor print quality throughout the run and adjust as needed
• Tear down presses at job completion — pull screens, clean heads, and reset for the next job
• Keep the press running efficiently to hit production targets and eliminate downtime
• Perform routine press cleaning and basic maintenance
• Reclaim / handle screens and manage ink as needed
• Flag equipment, material, or quality issues to the night shift manager promptly
• Keep the work area clean and organized
