Job summary

FLOFORM Countertops in Post Falls is seeking an experienced Sawyer on the night shift (2pm–12am) to produce high-quality countertops. You will set up the work area, load slabs, and operate table saws and power tools to meet specifications.

This role requires Sawyer experience, knowledge of hand and power tools, forklift certification, and a valid driver’s license. Strong math, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Sawyer experience is required.
• Experience operating park-saberjet machinery.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Basic understanding of fractions, measurements, and mathematics.
• Knowledge and experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within one year).
• A valid driver’s license and clean background check.

Responsibilities

• Set up the work area by adjusting or loading stone slabs.
• Mark, cut, grind, sand, clean, or polish stone to meet specifications.
• File grooved, contoured, and irregular stone surfaces to templates and blueprint specs.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation per safety procedures.
• Safely operate power tools including table saws and more.
• Lift and carry stone slabs safely (35-50lbs).
• Stand for extended periods and work with hands for prolonged durations.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain high quality.
