Job summary

EZG Manufacturing in Malta Township, OH is seeking a Night Shift Saw Operator to help form metal structures. You will read blueprints, follow work instructions, and work solo or with others in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to operate CNC and manual saw equipment, read tape measures, perform inspections, and safely lift steel. We offer a competitive benefits package and a respectful, team-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience required; saw operation familiarity a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in sawing tasks.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC saw and manual equipment to produce parts per production requirements.
• Read and interpret tape measures and other measurement tools.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections as required.
• Lift and manipulate steel sizes using manual or lift assist equipment.
• Operate forklifts and cranes safely.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Conduct quality control checks for finished products.

As a Night Shift Saw Operator, you will play a crucial role in forming metal structures and components. The ideal candidates should have a strong attention to detail. This operator is proficient in reading blueprints, following work instructions, and can work both alone and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

What You'll Do:

• Operate CNC saw and manual equipment to safely produce quality parts at established production requirements
• Read & interpret tape measure and other measurement tools
• Perform first-piece, in-process and other inspections as required
• Operator must be able to lift and manipulate by hand and with lift assist equipment all sizes of steel
• Operate forklifts and cranes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure finished products meet high standards.
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

• 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience. Saw operation and familiarity a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in sawing tasks.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Ability to adjust the controls of a machine.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
• Perform other duties as assigned
