Job summary

EZG Manufacturing, Malta, OH, is seeking a Night Shift Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate CNC saw and manual equipment, read blueprints, and perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure quality parts are produced safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has solid attention to detail, reads tape measures accurately, and can adjust machine controls while following work instructions in a fast-paced setting.

As a Night Shift Saw Operator, you will play a crucial role in forming metal structures and components. The ideal candidates should have a strong attention to detail. This operator is proficient in reading blueprints, following work instructions, and can work both alone and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do:

• Operate CNC saw and manual equipment to safely produce quality parts at established production requirements
• Read & interpret tape measure and other measurement tools
• Perform first-piece, in-process and other inspections as required
• Operator must be able to lift and manipulate by hand and with lift assist equipment all sizes of steel
• Operate forklifts and cranes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure finished products meet high standards.
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

• 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience. Saw operation and familiarity a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in sawing tasks.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Ability to adjust the controls of a machine.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
• Perform other duties as assigned
