Job summary

EZG Manufacturing in Ohio is seeking a Night Shift Saw Operator to form metal structures, reading blueprints and following work instructions in a fast-paced environment. You will work both independently and with a team to meet production requirements.

This role requires 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, proficiency with tape measures, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Safety, attention to detail, and the ability to lift and manipulate steel with equipment are important, as

• 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience. Saw operation and familiarity a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in sawing tasks.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Ability to adjust the controls of a machine.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC saw and manual equipment to safely produce quality parts at established production requirements.
• Read & interpret tape measure and other measurement tools.
• Perform first-piece, in-process and other inspections as required.
• Operator must be able to lift and manipulate by hand and with lift assist equipment all sizes of steel.
• Operate forklifts and cranes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure finished products meet high standards.
• Other duties as assigned
