Job summary

Dessert Holdings Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Worker in Smyrna, GA to ensure a clean, safe food production area. You will follow eight steps of sanitation, adhere to GMP/SQF/HACCP standards, and maintain high hygiene.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge on Food Safety and Quality.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Flexible schedule including overtime.
• Minimal ability to read and write in English.
• Follow GMP and maintain good personal hygiene.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking for up to 8 hours per day; handle hazardous chemicals safely.

Responsibilities

• Wear PPE and follow GMP policies.
• Work with sanitation staff across departments.
• Follow SSOPs including eight steps of sanitation.
• Frequently lift hoses, equipment and chemical containers.
• Learn to clean and sanitize food production equipment and environment.
• Perform all assigned duties.
