Job summary

Herbruck's is seeking a 3rd shift sanitation worker for nightly cleaning of processing facilities in Indiana. Shift runs 6:45pm–6:00am with potential variations based on business needs. The role requires adherence to HACCP and GMPs and involves handling cleaning equipment and following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Will work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine, birds or cattle.

Responsibilities

• Follow all HACCP rules and GMPs.
• Disassemble, sanitize and reassemble parts from equipment.
• Use and operate power washer.
• Use and operate air compressor to clean equipment.
• Wet and scrub equipment.
• Follow the assigned cleaning and sanitizing checklist.
• Perform any/all other duties assigned to you.
• Comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and report incidents of abuse, neglect or bio-security breaches.
