Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Newberry, SC is hiring for a sanitation worker to clean and sanitize production areas. You will disassemble equipment, rinse and sanitize surfaces, and ensure GMP compliance in a cold, wet plant environment.

Shift options include evening to early morning hours with overtime as required. Applicants should have a HS diploma and basic math/computer skills, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work two weekends per month.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to stand for entire shift and work in refrigerated environments.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and perform sanitation tasks.
• Proficiency with basic math and computer skills is required.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize production and non-production areas
• Disassemble equipment and prepare for sanitation
• Use high-pressure hoses and sanitizers
• Follow PPE and GMP standards to ensure product cleanliness
• Maintain housekeeping and contribute to safety checks
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision
