Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Mason, OH seeks an entry-level Sanitation 1 to keep production areas, equipment, and tools clean in compliance with GMP and food safety standards. This role supports a safe, high-quality manufacturing environment.

You will perform thorough cleaning, assist with basic teardown for cleaning, handle chemicals safely with training, operate sanitation equipment, log activities, and report safety or quality concerns. Training is provided and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• No prior certifications required; training on food safety, chemical handling, and Lockout/Tagout provided by Kraft Heinz.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to sanitation excellence.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, floors, drains, and walls.
• Dismantle and reassemble basic equipment for cleaning.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely per SDS guidelines with training.
• Operate sanitation support equipment (hoses, foaming units, scrubbers).
• Maintain sanitation logs and documentation for audits.
