Job summary

Pacific Cheese is seeking a Sanitation Worker for the 3rd shift in Reno, NV. Under general supervision, you will clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas to meet federal and state requirements.

The role supports the production run, follows Good Manufacturing Practices, and participates in trainings. Benefits include health, dental, and vision, plus AD&D, LTD, STD, life insurance, paid vacation, sick and holiday time, and a 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• Must clean and sanitize production equipment and areas according to procedures.
• Work in 3rd shift with possible overtime.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices for food safety and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize production equipment following procedures and instructions.
• Wash and sanitize production work area; empty refuse containers; clean warehouse.
• Open and prepare raw material for daily production run.
• Ensure production area, sanitation area and tools are clean and organized.
• Open cheese and prepare production lines for on-time start up.
• Pack finished product into appropriate packaging.
• Follow GMP and safe work practices.
• Attend all department and company required trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
