Job summary

The Suter Company is seeking a sanitation technician to clean and sanitize production equipment to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance. You will follow established procedures, handle cleaning chemicals safely, and complete required documentation.

Core hours are evening shift, Monday through Friday 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with possible Saturday work as needed. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour with a $2/hour shift premium.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of chemicals used, their purpose and interactions.
• Ability to follow detailed written, verbal or diagrammed instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in wet or hazardous environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily setting up, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment for production.
• Dilute cleaning chemicals and follow safety precautions when using them.
• Clean equipment, parts, utensils, and containers during washdown and between batches.
• Inspect and ensure sanitary conditions have been achieved.
• Follow all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• Complete required HACCP documentation.
