Job summary

Versova is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor for the night shift at our Moses Lake facility. You will lead sanitation teams, develop strategies, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations while coordinating with Production, QA, and Maintenance.

The role requires 5+ years in sanitation within food processing, with supervisory experience, and proficiency in data analysis and CMMS software. This onsite position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in food processing sanitation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation best practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with sanitation management software and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee facility-wide sanitation strategies and protocols.
• Manage and mentor a team of Sanitation Leads and Workers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance departments to optimize sanitation schedules and processes.
• Develop and manage the sanitation department budget, including labor and supply costs.
• Implement and oversee a comprehensive sanitation audit program.
• Analyze sanitation metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead investigations into sanitation-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Manage relationships with chemical suppliers and sanitation equipment vendors.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all sanitation activities.
• Represent the sanitation department in management meetings and regulatory inspections.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging sanitation technologies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
