Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Night Shift Sanitation Associate to clean the manufacturing facility in Cincinnati, OH in accordance with USDA requirements and company safety policies. Hours are 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with overtime and weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities include high-pressure wash downs, chemical application, equipment scrubbing and pre-op checks, while adhering to SSOP and GMP standards in a temperature-extreme environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical work in a fast-paced facility.
• Follow USDA guidelines, SSOPs and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities

• Rinse equipment with high-pressure hot water systems.
• Apply cleaning chemicals to equipment walls, ceilings, floors and drains.
• Scrub equipment with cleaning chemicals using a green pad.
• Lift parts to tear down/set up equipment and to store properly.
• Climb ladders/steps to clean overhead areas.
• Shovel meat from the floor and clean with a squeegee.
• Wipe condensation from overhead structures and maintain clean surfaces.
• Adhere to SSOP and USDA policies; perform pre-op checks.
• Train new or temporary team members as needed.
• Work safely with hazardous chemicals nightly and in teams.
