Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Sanitation Associate for the night shift in our Baltimore, MD facility. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, food-safe environment and requires proper PPE at all times.

The position involves cleaning refrigerated coolers, gondolas, sinks, and production utensils, while supporting GMP/SQF health and safety programs. Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred, and a high school diploma is common; 2+ years in the food industry are valued.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working in the food industry.
• General high school degree, or equivalent, (e.g. GED). High school diploma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize refrigerated coolers and production areas daily.
• Restock vinyl gloves and sanitize hand wash sinks and production utensils.
• Follow GMPs and SQF to support food safety programs.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and health and safety regulations.
• Perform cleaning with floor scrubber and daily waste handling.
