Sysco is seeking a full-time janitorial associate to maintain cleanliness across the facility, warehouse and production areas. The role includes cleaning machinery, floors, and workspaces while strictly following sanitation and safety policies.

The position offers a starting wage of $20.00 per hour with eligibility for a monthly bonus. Night shifts (Mon-Fri 9:00 pm–5:30 am) are required, and a high school diploma or GED is preferred along with prior sanitation experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of on-the-job sanitation/maintenance experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Certification on material handling equipment or ability to become certified.
• Must read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsabilités

• Clean and sanitize machinery, support equipment, and conveyors.
• Clean and sanitize floors, walls, and work areas.
• General warehouse maintenance: mop, sweep, and upkeep.
• Adhere to Food, Sanitation and Safety policies and SQF standards.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to minimize accidents.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor and follow safety rules.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and travel paths.
• Assist with department priorities and complete assigned tasks.
