Job summary

Jack Link’s Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a Sanitation - Production Worker for rotational nights (9:30 pm to 6:00 am). You will clean facilities and equipment, apply cleaning chemicals, and perform hot/cold wash downs to support safe production. Follow GMPs/HACCP/SOPs and maintain cleanliness to start shifts on time.

This role requires high school diploma or GED, strong multi-tasking abilities, and good communication. Safety, teamwork, and adherence to PPE are essential in a plant environment.

Qualifications

• Able to organize and prioritize in a multi-tasking environment.
• Understand and follow Chemical & Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures and policies, once trained.
• Demonstrate professionalism; encourage and insist on positive attitudes and behaviors from team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must work effectively with all levels of management and team member.
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers.
• Ability to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions and deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Responsibilities

• Clean facilities and equipment in proper sequence to support timely start-up.
• Apply chemicals for cleaning, degreasing, and sanitizing.
• Perform hot and cold water wash downs for equipment, floors and walls.
• Assist with pre-inspections and start-up preparations.
• Follow GMPs, HACCP, SOPs and SSOPs; engage in continuous improvement.
