Job summary

Winland Foods in Buckner, KY is seeking a Sanitation Manager to lead the sanitation team on the night shift (11pm-8am) with flexibility to support plant needs, including weekends. You will ensure food safety compliance and drive high performance across sanitation operations.

Key duties include directing sanitation activities, improving programs and procedures, managing budget and inventory, and partnering with QA, Operations, Engineering and R&D to enable new equipment and sanitary design

Qualifications

• Lead, coach, develop, and manage the sanitation team to ensure a safe, engaged, and high-performing workforce.
• Direct all sanitation activities to meet company, customer, regulatory, and food safety requirements.
• Plan, prioritize, and allocate labor, equipment, and resources to support production schedules.
• Develop and continuously improve sanitation programs, procedures, and standards across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sanitation performance through key metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate sanitation issues and partner with cross-functional teams for solutions.
• Lead audits and ensure readiness with QA, SQF/BRC, FDA.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and R&D on sanitary design.
• Manage sanitation budget, inventory, and procurement.
• Deliver sanitation-related training to ensure regulatory compliance.
