Job summary

Verde Farms is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to lead daily sanitation operations in our organic beef manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this role supervises sanitation and microwave staff to ensure cleaning is performed to meet food safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of USDA/FDA sanitary processing experience, strong leadership, and English communication skills, with proficiency in GMPs, HACCP, SQF, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred in a related science background
• 3–5 years of direct USDA or FDA sanitary process experience
• Strong work ethic and ability to communicate clearly across departments in English
• Experience leading sanitation teams in a food processing environment is preferred
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and SQF is desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead sanitation operations for the production facility and supervise microwave room staff
• Ensure all cleaning and sanitation activities comply with GMPs and USDA/FDA requirements
• Maintain sanitation records and provide daily documentation on sanitation activities and GMP compliance
• Coach and develop sanitation personnel and manage safety and incident responses
• Coordinate with Maintenance, QA, and Production to resolve sanitation-related issues
