Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Elk Grove, CA, seeks a Sanitation Supervisor to oversee sanitation programs across production lines, storage areas, and employee facilities.

You will ensure compliance with FDA/USDA, HACCP, GMP, SQF, and SSOPs to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment. The role requires a high school diploma (GED), a preferred Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5 years of QA/QC in food manufacturing, and 3–5 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control in the food manufacturing industry.
• At least 3–5 years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain sanitation procedures and protocols for all facility areas.
• Lead and supervise a team of sanitation workers with training and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP, SQF, and SSOPs.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess sanitation standards and drive improvements.
• Maintain records of sanitation activities, chemical usage, and training documentation.
• Oversee handling, storage, and use of cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment.
